Our composite pool features 2 powerful anti swim jets, which can be adjusted at different stages of your dog's rehabilitation, this allows the dog to swim against a current, building muscle mass and stamina.

The pool is fitted with a non slip ramp to facilitate easy access.  Where a dog's condition prevents using the ramp, we also have an overhead hoist to lower dogs into the pool.

The temperature of the water is heated to 27 - 30 degrees C.

Our pool is purpose built with a high standard of pumps and high rate sand filters, water quality is manually tested 3 times a day to the NARCH standards, chlorine levels are closely monitored to ensure bacterial levels are kept to a minimum, water records will be taken and kept for any future inspection.

Showering and drying facilities are available to prevent your dog getting cold on the way home; we also have weighing facilities to see if our dogs have been over spoiled.

The Under Water Treadmill

The beauty of the treadmill is that you can see the dog’s movement from all angles and enables the therapist to ensure the dog uses the specific part of the body it should be using, the speed and water level can be adjusted by remote, depending on the treatment given.

This is a innovative piece of equipment and can assist in all levels of your dog's rehabilitation. Our treadmill and pool facilitates both basic and advanced hydrotherapy treatments, as well as other treatment protocals such as fitness, conditioning and general well being.

Hot Spa

This passive form of Hydrotherapy provides elderly and/or severely arthritic dogs with an improved mobility and helps ease muscle strains and sprains.

The Spa can be adjusted to suit the size of dog and the temperature can be manually controlled.

The hot water bubbling through increases the blood flow to muscles and other affected areas; it will also increase flexibility, decrease pain from muscle spasm and stiff joints.

We can also use the spa to for dogs recovering from surgery; this will help relax muscles and warm joints before going on to more strenuous hydrotherapy.
